I'm Lauren Noel Hovey. I am the owner and operator of Lauren Noel Events and we are Planning on Making Great Memories.

I started this journey at the young age of 16 when I was hired as a bridal consultant at a local bridal shop. I enjoyed the job so much that I hung on to it, although only working one day a week in my 6th year with company and working two other jobs while in college just so I could see the look on a bride's face when she found "the one"...that would be a wedding dress. During the time as a bridal consultant, I also modeled wedding gowns for bridal expos and had the great chance to mingle and meet many fabulous folks in the wedding industry who I still have kept in touch with to this day.

I finally had to leave that stop on the journey behind as I focused more on my college career where my emphasis was event planning at Cal State Fullerton in the Communications department. I realized through planning small events for friends and family and being the events chairperson for my sorority, that it was my true love. I graduated and was quickly hired to do fundraising and events for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation chapter. During this time, I gained more event experience and began planning weddings in my "free time." I've now moved on to a local Orange County theatre and am focusing on event and party planning. Now that I have more of a focus to my current position, I'm able to launch my own company and make a commitment to my clients.
